hey, jen. i was wondering if you were going to write another book set at whispering pines and if sam and cole are ever going to get back together (why did they break up?) answer as soon as you can.

Jen Calonita Hi Marie! I love writing about summer camp and returning to Whispering Pines is something I'd say is always in the cards. If there is a want for more books set there, then I'd definitely consider going back again. For Sam and Cole, I think the reason I knew they couldn't still be together as a couple was that almost five years passed between Sleepaway Girls and Summer State of Mind. It just didn't seem realistic to keep them together for that long, but I knew they clicked so well they had to take on a more brother/sister type role. If I had set Summer a year after Sleepaway, I think I would have kept them together for sure.
