Have you ever actually seen a ghost or anything supernatural? And if so do you mind telling us about it and what happened?

Thanks for this question - it's a good one!
I only have one (fairly minor) experience. I went on a ghost tour about two years ago. The guide stopped outside a house that supposedly had many spirits lingering inside and around it. I was at the back of the group, but heard a man clear his throat behind me. When I turned the street was empty. It spooked me pretty badly!
All of my other stories are second-hand, but here are a couple of my favourites. My mother used to work as a nurse and says the hospital's staff had caught security footage of what seemed to be a ghost in the parking garage. The tape had been played so many times it was starting to break down, but she says the figure was transparent and walked 4-5 paces before disappearing.
Another friend worked in a building that had once been an institute for patients with mental disorders. She and the other staff often heard footsteps running down the hallways during the night.
A very generous paranormal researcher let me listen to some audio he'd captured in Sydney's Q station (an old quarantine station where hundreds of settlers died). It sounds a lot like a hoarse man saying "Got a cigarette?"
Sometimes the truth really is stranger (and creepier) than fiction. =)

Okay, so you may hate me for asking this since I sincerely doubt you consider yourself a 'romance' writer, but I love and adore your books with the subtle romance subplot. My first book by you was the Carrow Haunt and it has become my favorite new ghost story! I have read Haunting of Blackwood and the Black Winter books, but are there any others with a romance subplot? I'd like to put them at the top of my list.
