Just finished Age of Myth this past weekend and really enjoyed it. While I'm looking forward to the next book, I do wonder if you've considered a book the delves further back into the history of the elves?

Hey, thanks for reading...and for stopping by to ask a question. It's funny, overtime I write a book, my wife wants to know the "full story" about events I mention in it. When I wrote Riyria Revelations, she wanted to know how Royce and Hadrian first met...and hence The Riyria Chronicles were born. After reading Heir of Novron, she wanted to know the details about how he built the first Empire, and hence Legends of the First Empire came into being. When reading Age of Myth, she asked me about books that play out the Belgreig War where Fenelyus fought with the Dhergs.
I'm wrapping up the edits on book #6 (yes the series grew from 5 to six during my editing), and when I'm done with that, I need to spend the next few months figuring out what I'll start next. I have 12 - 15 books vying for my attention, and that idea wasn't even one of them. Maybe I should add that as well...sigh. So many books so little time. But thats a better problem to have than the other way around.
Thanks for mentioning it. When I hear an idea that several people want to see it makes it much more likely it'll be written someday. I think it could be a really good story, and who doesn't like a really good story?

I just finished The Riyria Revelations and want to thank you for writing such an excellent series. I'm curious about a couple of details, though, if you have time to talk about. 1. Does Empress Modina ever get married? 2. What would have happened Arcadius if he'd managed to survive to face Royce?

I have just finished reading Hollow World and thought it extraordinary particularly for your insights into the intractability of human nature across time. If you are considering a sequel, I'd be most interested in knowing how the Pax character would be developed. Also, can you tell me what some of your stronger influences came to bear on your concept of Hollow World and its inhabitants?
