No question. I just wanted to say that I love your books. I discovered you through Hello from the Gillespies. I did not want the book to end. I think about the characters often and wonder what they are doing right now. The same is true for The House of Memories. I'm on the hunt for your other books. Please keep writing! Please?

Dear Trish,
Warm greetings from sunny Dublin and thanks so much for your lovely message. I'm delighted you enjoyed Hello from the Gillespies and The House of Memories, and I hope you will enjoy my other (nine) novels too! I'm working on my twelfth novel at the moment (and have ideas for my thirteenth already), so I promise there will be plenty of books to come. I hope you'll enjoy all of them in the future too.
Thanks for taking the time to write, I'm so glad to hear my stories and characters have stayed with you.
All best wishes and happy reading,
Monica

i have just discovered you via house of memories. Love it. Ive been quite down since my all time maeve binchy demise. very surprised I overlooked your books while in uk. Now I have rosemunde pilcher , binchy , lucy dillon and your books to keep me company. i find it a bit hard to find ur books here in Malaysia. So seriously thinking if I should get a Kindle... Are you a dog person or do you have a pet?

Hi Monica, actually I don't have a question. I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your article on The Guardian. I was touched by the lines: "In Dublin now, if I’m homesick for Australia, I reach for an Australian novel." I left Europe and moved to Australia (for love!) recently and, when I'm homesick, I, like you, reach for a (European) novel. Thank you. What am I going to read now? One of your novels!
