Why is the first book called 'Fire & Flood'? I just finished it and I still don't get the title :P. Sorry if it's super obvious and I just missed it :)

Victoria Scott Hi Bel,

The book is called FIRE & FLOOD because of the first two ecosystems. 'Fire' represents the blinding heat of the desert, and 'Flood' represents the torrential, unrelenting rain in the jungle. And don't worry, plenty of people have asked this before. Little known fact is that I originally titled the book THE BRIMSTONE BLEED, but the published wanted a different title. Thanks for reading!
