Kerry, I read your super interview on Fuse Lit. Let me introduce myself, I am one of your 800 minions on WFWA, which I find to be first-class. Your advice about 'community' is spot on. I have participated in a WFWA critique group which was less than productive...two dropped out early. Any suggestions on where to hook into a 'community' of writers who actually write, not merely aspire to?

Having read All the Breaking Waves before starting on the Everything trilogy, I was somewhat confused by the boy Ian's rescue in a ditch by a psychic who goes by different names. In All the Breaking Waves, the mother of the main character Molly finds a missing boy in a ditch using psychic abilities. I kept looking for a link between Ian and the unnamed boy in All the Breaking Waves, but none emerged. Is there a link?
