What’s the best thing about being a writer?

C.J. Laurence The fact that you can emerge yourself into this whole other little world that you, and you alone, have created. You are these character's 'God' so to speak but the relationship you build with them is so much deeper. The best bit is that the character's often surprise you and take the story in a completely different direction than what you originally intended. It's just awesome :-)
