Does anyone know a child that has read the book? What was their opinion of the book? I find myself wondering if I would have enjoyed it more If I was in the recommended age bracket.

Pru is not likeable because she's a know-it-all and is kind of whiny, and her parents aren't very believable because they let her do stuff in the later books like risk her life and I don't think that would happen in real life.

I wouldn't really suggest reading it because it's boring, but other than that it wouldn't hurt. Glad you didn't love it either - I thought I was the only one. :)(less)
