LJF
LJF asked Quinn Loftis:

This is really two questions. a) What is the difference between witches, warlocks and magi (referenced in book five of GW)? b) What is the difference between fae and elves?

Quinn Loftis Great question, LJF. Witches are evil, always women, who can be created by evil fae sorcerers. If witches have children, then their children are usually also witches. Warlocks are a race of supernaturals that has a deep connection with the land, a bit like druids. They can be good or evil. Magi will be introduced in a future book one day, so I'm not going to say anything about them, but they also can be good or evil.

b) fae are the most powerful supernaturals. They can do things like flash, change their appearance, mess with peoples minds, that elves cannot do. Elves have their own brand of magic, but they are much less magical as a species, than fae.
