Angela M. Hudson Yes it does, but the cheating is not condoned for a second and the person involved learns a very valuable lesson. But most of all, these books are, at their core, about how true love prevails against all odds. And the love triangle is a complication of the main character's very messed up childhood, so it's not just in there to annoy readers. Ha ha ha.
