Welp, folks do post and tweet things that they hope or expect will happen and I worry that they'll get that so deep in their head, when it doesn't happen, they'll be disappointed. But in the end, the story is what the characters give to me and it really can't be anything else. I never release anything that doesn't sing for me, that I don't adore, and there's really nothing I can do but understand some will be right there with me, some won't.
That is the name of this game (or part of it). So if I allowed that to weigh on me, I might not ever write another word! Can't have that! I'd explode!!!!
I knew it was a risk when Franka whispered to me and Noc agreed. She isn't the most popular character (big understatement). But she'd always fascinated me. I was actually in love with her from the very beginning, wondering what her story was. And when I got it, it gutted me and it just HAD to be told.
Now it's just waiting for the book to come out and hoping that people will fall in love with these two just as deeply as I have.

I have been stuck reading your books for the past 3 months and deliberately ask several of my bookish friends to start reading Dream Man series and they all blamed me now for they are getting the same bug as I do. I do so loved The Burg series, especially At Peace. Any change we get a book on Kate and her Chicago PD Detective? I'd like to know what makes you drop Danes since they appear solid on the book
