Hi Caleb! I grew up in a house with loooooots of books, and some of those books were amazing, and I'm pretty sure if you read enough great, resonant books it will make you want to write some yourself. Good books have that effect. I don't think it has anything to do with age. :)

Hi! I was reading through your profile and saw that you grew up with a lot of books and found that to be good motivation to begin writing your own. The same thing was true for me, and while I'm not so fortunate as to have been published yet, I'm wondering what it was like for you. What was the publishing process? How did you go about it? Are there any tips you would give to other young writers seeking publication?

Have you given any thought as to what the rest of the world was like during the events of the Peculiar and the Whatnot? Like how the arrival of the faeries in England affected the rest of the world? I know there was a mention in the Pecuilar in the Privy Council scene of implied use of faerie technology to make America part of England again. I think it would make for an interesting short story.

Hello! I know you speak as only one of four "Curators" of the Cabinet of Curiosities, but can you say if there are any plans (or at least dreams!) to publish a second collection? There have been so many new and wonderful stories on the Cabinet web site and I would love to see them presented in glorious book format once again :)
