I enjoy your work immensley.How do you manage to balance your expert military knowledge with fictional story lines in order not to compromise national security?

Basically, I just don't put anything classified in the books. Usually, such things are concrete - like technical capabilities or the location of a base. If I box myself in by needing something along those lines, I'll just create a fictional capability or location. The Taskforce itself is a good example of that. We don't have anything like it in real life. I definitely needed an organization for Pike to work within, but I didn't want to use a real one, so I created one out of whole cloth. I think my military knowledge helps more with the intangibles of how our government operates, from the strategic to tactical level.
