Christine Hatfield
Christine Hatfield asked Paula Cappa:

Why do you like to write books?

Paula Cappa I love to write books, and short stories, primarily because I love entering the imaginary world. It's not just escape or entertainment, it's learning and exploring. For example, I'm working on my third novel which is about the supernatural power in music. An odd subject, but this curiosity about how music affects us urged me to investigate sound, mantras, classical music, and whale songs. I've discovered in my research for my character, who is a musician, that music opens this man to an unknown realm. That's why I write, to enter that unknown realm of the supernatural, the imaginary, and experience the powers that exist outside of the reality of our normal lives. I think that is the main purpose of fiction, to reach beyond ourselves. Thank you, Christine, for asking.
