I really love the way you depict Fox in the Reckless books - to me, she's by far one of the most distinguished and "alive" of all the many characters you've written. I'd like to know if you had any specific inspiration for her when you began telling her story?

Thank you so much, Lisa.your words made my writer's day:) Charakters come to us in mysterious ways and that's especially true for Fox. When she first met Jacob at the ruin I was sure she is just a wise vixen. She waited for a while to reveal her human self to me. As for her past- it was inspired by all the years I worked with and wrote for children witnessing how often parents break instead of nourish their children. I had a very sheltered upbringing but as a storyteller one should be the voice of everyone in my opinion. Fox is me in many ways despite our different past, and I heard from many women that they see themselves in her - which proves my belief that all women are shape shifters and connected to the non-human side of this world in very interesting ways:)

Hi Cornelia, I love your books, especially the Inkheart trilogy, Dragon Rider and The Thief Lord! Your books completely changed my life and I'm extremely grateful I had the pleasure to read and re-read your books *reflects on re-reading Inkdeath at least once a year since 2011*. I was wondering, is The Colour of Revenge going to be another series or is it going to be just one book? I'm so excited for it! Lots of love
