Hello Brenda, I really enjoy reading all your books. Loved the Stillwater series and enjoyed the Whiskey Creek series. I haven't really got a book question more of a writer's question. (Most writer's have a way of writing books some write out scene than everything else is added). My question is how do you put your books together? I will understand if you unable to answer (Writer's secret). Thank you

Brenda Novak Hi Leslie, thanks for the question. This isn't something I would consider a writer's secret; it's just not something I think I can adequate explain. Because I'm not a plotter (I don't work from an outline but rather let the plot grow out of the characters), I just sort of launch out into the dark. Once I start writing, the characters come into clearer focus and I can tell what would challenge those particular characters most--which is then what they have to face and overcome.
