Sometimes when I'm blocked I will go back and read everything that I have written so far. That way I get more in tune with the characters again. I have become a firm believer in the idea that the characters write their own story! I didn't used to be like that, but when writing Born For War, I realized my characters were taking me places that I had never even thought to go. It was an eye opening experience for me!
