Jeremy Vaeni
Jeremy Vaeni asked Whitley Strieber:

At what point in your creative process did you realize Alien Hunter should be a series? (And with that, did the entire storyline unfold in your head all at once or are you piecing it together as you go?)

Whitley Strieber I became emotionally involved with the main character, Flynn Carroll. After I finished the first book, I found that he was still in my life, and I began to follow his adventures in my mind. He's the sort of character I wish I was, but can't really be.

My writing has been a mix of idea and character driven, but this haunted man, driven by his losses and his deep desire to somehow rebalance the world, is probably the character who has most engaged me over the course of my career.
