Could you describe a little bit of your writing process?

Ra Avis I only really write true stories, so I suppose the first part of my writing process is living. I try to be present and observant in my everyday life. I try to take notes, both mental and written.

Then I just start. I find that if I start with a single idea or sentence, and just begin writing-- I eventually find myself to the truth of whatever I am trying to express.

Then I go back and edit, edit, edit!
