Mimi Denman I was so incredibly disappointed with the ending. I slogged through the whole thing thinking she would tie it together in a satisfying way but she did not.

Cynthia My brain pulled to a stop 75 pages from end. I feel like author got really tired, just started making lists and so did I.

Really too bad.

Judy O'Donnell In a rush to finish. Can only assume she wants to show the family care for finding how to re-forest
Eric It's a gentle call to action, don't you see? Sit down with your friends...whatever you're good at, follow the science but also integrate "traditional knowledge" and do some good. Get started! And yes, fixing this mess will take a long time.
Joe Stack I would have given this story 4 stars if it wasn't for the final paragraphs.
Mary The final ending left me chilled. She went to Antarctica and found the melting ice. She was told some of the things that have been done cannot be undone.
Sarah I took the end as hopeful but also as a warning. It's not all lost but we're in danger. I do feel the end was rushed, as I rushed to finish, but I remember finishing and feeling a sense of gloom and heaviness for the future.
