Hi Martha! I am currently reading Lilac Girls, and just went on your website to see when you are coming around (I'm a librarian in Newport and live on AI). Any visits planned locally besides the Vineyard? Loving the book so far - the differences in tone and life between the characters as it jumps from NYC to the war is utterly astounding.

I'm so glad you're loving the book so far! I have one more event in NYC in July, but no other plans to visit locally, off-island. Is there a bookstore in Newport you like? I can always reach out and see if they would like to do an event. Otherwise there is a six-city tour in the works for the paperback release in March but not sure which cities those are.
