Hi Shannon, I'm writing this book (not going to get published it's only for fun) and I'm trying to figure out this perfect name for this character that will be goofy and a jokester... I love your books and thought I'd ask you for your opinion on a name, do you know one? Or maybe a couple I can chose from?

Sadly, I'm probably the wrong person to ask because I'm obsessive about naming my characters. The meaning, sound, and feel of the name has to *fit* the character on multiple levels, and I've been known to spend days reading baby name books and scouring baby name websites, looking for something that works. So knowing so little about your character, all I can say is that if you google 'baby names' you'll find lots of websites that might help you figure it out.

(Caution: May be the weirdest question you have ever gotten) (PS: It's sorta relevant to my last question about eyes :D) So, if Sophie ends up marrying one of the blue-eyed elves, (hopefully Fitz) and happen to have little children elves, wouldn't that mean that she could possibly create a whole new group of elves with brown eyes and animal genetics?

Hiya, so as I was rerererereading the Sky Fall series in order to get ready for Let the Wind Rise, I wondered how you came up with the specific wind commands, like how to call an Easterly or Northerly or Westerly or Southerly? And then I wondered how you even came across the idea of basically personificating the wind? Or pretty much what was your inspiration for this series? Lol
