Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kevin Looney Well, since I only have one book out there in the world, this question is fairly easy to answer. The world of Echoes of the Forgotten uses spirits as a means for high speed communication. I have a personal fascination with ghosts and the many different concepts of the afterlife. Generally speaking, spirits are usually perceived as quick-moving. I wanted to create a fantasy world that made spirits not only common place, but integrated them into a key part of physical society. In the real world, instant (or near instant) communication is an important part of our daily lives. Now what happens if that communication were to be interrupted or completely stopped? I am also fascinated with recorded history and how it is typically crafted by the victors, so that also plays a monumental role in my story.
