It definitely makes you live in your head a lot, and sometimes you're so wrapped up in your own world and your own problems that the outside world comes as a surprise when it interrupts your own.

Having said that, it did seem to be a little shallow in its portrayal of anxiety. Many people with mental illnesses still care deeply about others, and some concern for anyone other than herself would have gone a long way towards making her more likable.(less)
