I began to wonder if the author wrote this specifically for millennials, under an impression that they don't know when to say no to a drink, or if she's in recovery & was using memories of her drinking days. I also didn't care for the way she spoke to others -- or didn't speak when she should have. I got tired of her erratic bouncing between snappish reactions & gnawing self consciousness & self-doubt, depending on who she was with. I didn't care, either, what happened to her -- but skipped to the end to see what the author had done to wrap up the plot. Feh --(less)
