Hi Rachel, Who is your favorite character to write out all of your books/series? And why?

I'm torn! In some ways, I love writing Myrnin and Shane from Morganville the most (they're honestly tied!) ... but in others, I love writing Joanne and David from the Weather Warden series too. It's really hard to pick just one, out of 50 books. (And Scholar Wolfe from The Great Library is up there, too!)

I'm an aspiring writer, but I'm dealing with two things: I get discouraged every single day because 96% of manuscripts are rejected, and I haven't had an idea for years, literally. There's too many people wanting to be writers, and knowing there's so much competition just kills me a little every day. When I get motivated, immediatly something appears about the industry that kills it. Any tips on how to deal with this?

Hi, Rachel! Just wanted to say that I loved Holly and Andrew in Forked Tongues (read in the Kicking It anthology). I've tracked down the 1st two parts of their story in Strange Brew and Hex Appeal. I would love to know more about them! Are there more stories that I'm missing? Any hope for book(s) about them? (One blog I read said that they exist in short stories only.) Thank you!
