Read Wolfsong and LOVED it. Are there any plans for an audio book? And if so, do you have any idea when it would be released? And who might narrate?
T.J. Klune
Why, thank you! I am so pleased at the response Wolfsong has received.
And yes, there will be an audiobook, though I don't want to speculate on a specific timeline for its release. I do know DSP is moving quicker these days on the turnaround from releasing a book to releasing an audiobook. (Case in point, the Queen & the Homo Jock King was released at the end of February, and will be out later this summer on audio). I would like it to get to the point where audiobooks are released the same day as the book itself (along with translations), but I think that's not going to happen for some time.
With regards to a narrator, I've been fortunate enough to work with some of the best narrators working in MM today. That being said, I really think that I'm going to look for someone unknown to do Wolfsong, someone I haven't worked with before. I get dozens upon dozens of auditions when I am choosing a narrator and it usually takes me a few weeks to go through them. I think Wolfsong will probably get the most I've ever had, so it will take time, but I gotta get voice for Ox just right, otherwise the narration just won't work.
Thanks!

It's not a question(sorry). I just wanted to tell you that your books influenced me a lot and I feel like I understand more and am a much more open-minded person thanks to you. (Specifically I mean characters like Kori/Corey and Sandy). For that, thank you so much :) (And because it needs a question mark:?)

Hey, about the Wolfsong continuation -will we get the chance to read about Gordo and Mark from the very beginning(like, from their first meeting)? (Wolfsong KILLED ME. I mean, I LOVED it, but I almost cried out my eyes? also, I live in dormitory, so imagine what my roommates must think of me now -I was crying the whole day and then one of them woke up at 3. a.m. to find me crying STILL. And then at 6 a.m. STILL.)
