I am reading Dylan The Nine Lives and am thoroughly enjoying it. I think you managed to put a laugh on every page and in doing so, you have truly captured D.T.'s essence and passed it on. Was it difficult to write?

Jonathan Fryer Delighted you enjoyed it, David. I found some original material, which was unexpected (notably interviewing his brother-in-law) but the main difficulty was getting the right balance of judgment as there was much about DT that was reprehensible, though his best poetry is sublime.
