For what it's worth: I read what you said about spending ad money. I also have wasted time and money on FB & Twitter and am convinced they do not sell books. Not much luck with emails. I took your advice and spent $100 on Kindle and so far am very happy with the results. Far better than the others combined. Will do it again. Any other good tips?

Glad to hear from you, Jack. But I think you meant to address the question to someone else. I haven't used Facebook or Twitter for promos yet. As for good tips, the best I've seen so far is in the Support Indie Authors group, Sales & Marketing thread, post #438. Highly advise you to check it out.
