Now that you are a full time writer, it seems your writing is years ahead of the publishing, such as currently writing the third Red Sister book when the first won't be published for almost a year. I know you are not a planner and may not know what's next, but would you (or your publisher) be open to two series being published concurrently? I know, I'm greedy, but I am finishing Wheel of Osheim and it is incredible.

I'm not a planner of what I'll write but I know how unpredictable life can be, especially as the father of a very disabled child, and I try to prepare for that.
For me this means having a good buffer between me and any deadline / chance of disappointing readers.
My daughter has a major operation scheduled in August and how long it will be after that before she's well enough for me to be able to write again I don't know.
I wouldn't want to be in the position where her health crises would threaten my ability to deliver a book.
If all goes well I'll start writing something new - and sure, if I get ahead in that too, and a publisher likes it enough to publish it ... then more than one book a year is a possibility.

What advice could you give to an aspiring writer like myself? Does prose come along eventually, as I practice writing or as I read, depending as well on what kinds of stories I read? How do I create a good story? How do I create a good narrator? Does cutting the excess use of adverbs and adjectives do the trick or could I do more than that? Sorry for sending so many questions. :D Cheers from the Philippines.
