Goodreads asked Sydney Ledger:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Sydney Ledger Never quit, push through, especially during 'writer's block'. I used to allow that to deter me and months would go by and my book would just lay there collecting cyber-dust. Sit down and push through it and soon the spark would come! Also, never stop writing! If you think you have completed a book and are satisfied, take a week or two off, read a few books (of the same genre) and then go back to your book. Have you made similar mistakes as the ones made in the books you read during that time?
Also, read reviews of books of the same genre - especially critical reviews, it helps you understand the craft better - the mistakes you've made, the way other's think etc.
