Hi Kellyn,
As an author I like Goodreads because even before my book was published I could discover what readers thought of it. The community aspect of it is wonderful and allows books to go viral if readers connect with them. I also like that readers can view my blog here, ask questions, leave comments and do book group chats. And the Goodreads Giveaways my publisher did were incredibly successful.
I like it as a reader as well and enjoy checking out what everyone else is reading.

Hello Martha, Was there ever a time during your ten years of research that you doubted your ability to write the book and then get a publisher? Or were you confident all along that it would be picked up? Also, was the title your choice? This book was simply amazing on every level, a truly fantastic debut.
