Thanks for your prompt answer. I would like to ask another question. I think it would be good to discount my ebook down to .99 cents from 4.99 so new readers and friends could get a feel for my writing, and know if any of the other books in the series would interest them. Where do I go on Amazon to reduce the price for a week or two? How long do people ususally have their ebooks discounted?

Werner A. Lind Joan, I wish I could help you with these questions, but I don't have a clue --sorry! All the business dealings with Amazon regarding my book is handled by my publisher (and they've never tried a price reduction there, that I know of). And I've never paid much attention to what the usual time frame is for price reductions. (My impression is that it's usually a week or a few days, but I could be wrong about that!)[

As a librarian, what are the most dramatic changes in libraries seen in recent years? -- I feel they have become great, friendly community centers for readers and researchers. It is amazing to me how libraries have adapted to electronic media.
