Goodreads asked Matthias Leue:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Matthias Leue Since I write non-fiction, I don't really have writers block. I do give writing a rest for whatever time frame seems right to me. I find that editing, re-editing, and then fine-tuning my thoughts seems to works well for me. I take notes and photographs when I go to see my family and/or when I travel. With the help of both of these tools, I then weave together my stories. It seems to work out best, when I give the experiences some time to settle in, before I write about them. Often times I see things with fresh eyes, notice mistakes I didn't see before, or am able to expand on the subject with some research. I usually edit three times. After that I need a professional editor to find all the grammar and spelling mistakes I missed. :)
