One of my favorite things is spotting the "name drop" in a book. That moment when an author drops the title (or the reason for the title) into the story. So fun. I just re-listened to the audiobooks of the Adrien English series and realized you name-dropped The Hell You Say all the way back in book 1! I squealed at my desk in my office. I have weird hobbies. Was that always the plan, or was that just serendipitous?

I don't think it's in the very first edition of Fatal Shadows, but it popped up in one of the early rewrites. I thought it was funny, so I left it. I like sharing those little winks with alert readers. ;-)

Hi Josh! First I must tell you I admire your work. Your stories fascinate me and keep me thinking over about the characters and the events - it's never dull or unmotivated. Each story line has a couple of underlying layers. My question is - how do you determine the amount of romance in a story? In some stories there is much more romance than in the others ( and I looove it!). Thank you.
