This is a subject close to my heart, but perhaps because I've isolated myself from it for so many years (as much as one can), it lacks the same urgency it had back when Jimmy Carter ('79 or so) broached the subject. Oh, sure, the world will go to hell, but my family and I will last a few more weeks (maybe) ... anyone feel urgency in this 'distopian' book?
