Goodreads asked Peter Wibaux:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Peter Wibaux By writing. Then re-writing. Actually I've never felt it as a block, more as a spate when I feel like stopping. But writing for me is 50% research, 20% idea formation, 20% writing and 10% re-writing. And I don't believe that in fiction you can write a plot from scratch. Characters take on a life of their own (and some write themselves out of the book) and a plot is a living thing until the last page.

Surely that's part of the fun. If you already know how the journey ends, why travel?
