I didn't want him to get blown up but I hoped he would decide to stay in the military and let Jo Marie find happiness with Greg. I thought Greg got a raw deal.

I think you are right -- but he had valuable lesson to learn - and learned it - and I think appreciates her the more for it. Liked this one the best of the five.

I skimmed the last part because I just knew he would stay alive. I don't want to be mean about it - but I wanted her to end up with Greg.

I actually agree but everyone else disagreed with me. I am so glad that there wasn't something wrong with me for thinking that Mark should just leave Jo Marie to live her life and be happy.

I love your cynicism lol I don't read Debbie Macomber but I need to know the spoiler: what is the shocking news received by Jo Marie? This is being considered at the library where I work as a memorial, but if someone has died in the book, it won't really be appropriate. If you need to friend me and pm me here on goodreads that's fine. I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you! Tina S.
