I was just wondering that. I really wish there would be, but this is what the author said:

Jeanne Ryan (author): I wrote it, thinking it would be a standalone. Although I have some ideas where a sequel could go, there's nothing officially in the works.

I really hope so! I though it kind of funny how it ended because it's like the sort of surprise ending they would have at the very end of an action movie to get you to see the next one.
I could imagine there being a sequel, but it would probably take a good while before it got published.

The prequel idea could really work. The movie never really explains hiw Vees brother dies so they could use that as the movie where her brother dies playing nerve

I really freaking hope so i have watched this movie 10 times and im in love with it i dont know why but it one of those teenge movie im in love with i really hope if there a going to be a sequel it should have the same actors and stuff cause they did an amazing job and I love it

Although there is another book by Nerve's author called 'Charisma', I am not completely certain whether this is related to Nerve however that book is also really good.

i really hope so, i hate books with anopen ending without a sequel or a later explanation. that last sentence got me so curious and if there won't he a sequel i at least hope jeanne ryan will tell us in short why that happened and if she's going to play nerve again or not

I feel like a better idea would be to do a prequel based on the previous years game of nerve. Although we already know how it ends, there is a lot of details that could easily make another book/movie (I found out from this page that there is a book)

there probably is not , because there is not a second book that Jeanne Ryan wrote.
