I'm really enjoying the first book in the "In Times Like These" series! I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, so I found the "Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey" reference to be pretty delightful, and I was wondering if the hot air balloon was another Doctor Who reference (I'm thinking of the episode called "The Next Doctor, where the guy thinks he's the Doctor and his TARDIS turns out to be a hot air balloon)?

I definitely enjoy putting Dr. Who references into the books. Recently wrote a couple into book 3. The hot air balloon in ITLT was actually not a Dr. Who reference but have to agree that a balloon makes an excellent pseudo T.A.R.D.I.S.
