I felt Virgins was a great short story, and I don't say that very often, but it did leave me asking 'Why?' I think reading the Outlander books a better use of my time as I felt this was simply cashing in on the Outlander series. As others have said you could be put off reading Outlander by reading Virgins first.(less)
