I just now finished and totally loved your book! my god, what a talent you have to do so well at creating characters and bringing them to life that you make me feel so emotional towards them. that you make me grow to know and care for them. Thanks, Randy! I'm really glad you enjoyed the book. Usually by the time I'm done writing a book, I feel like the characters are part of my life, like people I actually know. All the Ugly and Wonderful Things is my "debut" novel in terms of traditional publishing. I have two other novels published by a small press, but in terms of writing, Wavy's story is the 12th or 13th book I've written.

I buddy read All the Ugly and Wonderful Things with my friend last year and we both loved it. It’s one of my favorite books of all time and it really stuck with me. What would you say is the main thing you wanted readers to take away from the story? Is there a moral of the story?
