Hi Hannah! Short answer: Nope. I had no idea. :) When I wrote Poison Study it was going to be a stand alone fantasy novel for adults. But when I reached the end I thought I could write more, but I wasn't going to bother unless I sold Poison Study. When my first editor called me, she said she wanted to buy the book AND the second book. I had a second one....right? Uh....yeeeesssss I did - thank fate I had 18 months to write Magic Study. The rest, as they say, is history ;)
