I am not sure whether someone has asked this before but have you ever thought about writing the actual Inkheart as in the one that Fenoglio wrote because I would love to know more about the original Inkworld characters especially Dustfinger?

Cornelia Funke I did answer that question before Hibbah, but I don't mind answering it again. I wouldn't write that story because I know how sad it ends for Dustfinger. But i am currently writing sequel to the inkbooks so hopefully you will learn more about them all soon!
