Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Nick Reichert I have always been interested in personal financial planning since I graduated from college with a 19.8% interest rate credit card that I could never seem to pay off. I find that our educational system doesn't do a great job in preparing individuals to manage their own financial affairs and if not taught by our parents, we must self-teach. During the Great Recession, I spent a lot of time reading, thinking about financial matters and writing about different investment and wealth-preservation ideas. As I did this, I began to form the concept of the Financial Fortress as a way to protect and grow your wealth that anyone could use. This was the inspiration for my book.
