Oh gosh, please don't worry. I'm past the age of thinking girls have cooties so I'm not remotely offended to be mistaken for one. And I'm aware 'Alexis' is less gender neutral in America than it is Europe :)
GLITTERLAND is part of a thematically-linked series called Spires - it includes, currently, itself (obviously), WAITING FOR THE FLOOD, and FOR REAL. They're all quite different but I think united by setting and tone. Another book is the series - PANSIES - is coming out later this year. And probably I will continue slowly adding to the series until I get bored or die, whichever comes first. What there probably won't be, however, is direct sequels because ... I don't know ... I tend to end books where I feel they need to end. But there is a little extra scene for GLITTERLAND called AFTERMATH.

What I'd like to ask...after I've recommended it to everyone...now that the ebooks have been pulled, when do you think they'll be available again? I LOVE all your spires books!!and while i wait for the next spires book, i'm going to start reading the prosperity series because i am addicted to your writing.. :) English is not my first language,but i find your writing to be so incredibly wonderful. One of my favorite sentence in your book is "...molested vigorously in a churchyard":)So here comes my question:will there be another spires book released in 2016?

Hi there, I'm very much interested in reading your book "Iron and Velvet" but its pretty pricey (about $63 in the US) everywhere I look right now. Is there anywhere you would suggest I look? Or a way I could buy it straight from you? (If I do spend over $60 for a book I would rather that money all go to the author rather than the publisher or anyone else)
