Tinnean:
Hi Tinnean. I glommed your Mark/Quin, Wills/Theo books & the online short stories as well. I loved them all! I have a question regarding 'Chasing Rainbows' one of the short stories you have up online. Are you going to reveal Bryan's 'situation' with 'personX' in your future published works? Sorry for being cryptic, but I'm dying to know.
Tinnean
I'm so glad you took advantage of the short stories. I'd love to compile them into an ebook and offer them for free. Maybe once I completely finish this series. :-)
Originally, I had revealed what was going on between Bryan and his one. Do you remember the New Year's Eve scene in Forever? That was where it was supposed to go, but Dreamspinner objected to the content. And since every publisher I've dealt with--and even Amazon going the self-pubbing route--won't permit it, all I'll be able to do is continue to allude to it.
Of course Mark knows. I'm not sure about Quinn, he's very close-mouthed about it. Portia has her suspicions, (Bryan and you-know-who are very discreet) but she's one wonderful woman, and she won't spill the beans. Jefferson is so wrapped up in Ludovic he wouldn't realize what's going on unless he was hit in the head with it. (at least, that's what he's told me. Who knows? It wouldn't surprise me if he'd lied to me.) And as for Gregor, he's completely in the dark.
The only way I can see this coming out is in a deathbed scene, and since they're still around in one of the future fics, (have you noticed how long-lived this family is? Unless they're killed in the line of duty, they'll keep going like the Energizer bunny.) I guess a death and its subsequent revelation just aren't going to happen.
Thanks so much, Magix! I hope that helped?
