Mr. Lawrence, I can't afford the $100 omnibus edition but I would love to read the short story contained in it... Is there any way to do it? Is it released outside the omnibus edition? Thank you very much.

Hi Mark, I am reading through One Word Kill and every time Rust shows up I cant help but remember Jorg (and a little bit of Nona when she is angry) and how terrifying is to have one of them in front of you against you. Was that your intention with Rust? A Jorg like character who is overcompetent and has no moral qualms?

I used to write a roleplay with some friends.We once played a game, imagining what would happen if our characters realized we were the ones putting them through those endless battles and emotional tortures, and they found their way to us for revenge. How do you think Jorg would react to this, and what would you do to survive/escape him? Haha!

Were you aware that you were creating a modern masterpiece when you were writing the broken empire, or did it come as a surprise? Also thank you for creating a thoroughly gripping, lean epic with masterfully crafted characters. Fifty years from now, this trilogy will be sitting next to Tolkien in the racks! :)
