I write about Salem, MA, the city where I live, so I get ideas both from history, and just strolling around the Salem streets. History casts a long shadow around here, so there will always be an element of that. But the contemporary city is just as fascinating.

Hello, In the back of my copy of "The Lace Reader" is a page that tells me a book titled, "Bone Lace" will be published in 2009. It seems to be a continuation of the characters in "The Lace Reader." Did you not write the book or was it published under a different title? If it is out there, I'd like to read it.
