Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Neala McCarten I've lived in New Mexico since 2006 and have been blown away by the diversity of experiences, places, activities of the state. It is like no other place in the USA that I had ever been. I felt that few guidebooks had been able to capture that and I wanted to share that with others. I even created a bit of a tag line: Explore the Unexpected.
